Welcome — a therapeutic space where you don’t have to hold it all together.
Ameer Salameh — Clinical and Educational Psychologist
The goal is not to keep you in therapy forever, but to help you find your footing — so you can move forward on your own.
Experience in accompanying people who have grown tired of carrying everything alone. Therapy is grounded in professional knowledge and adapted anew each time to the person sitting across from me.
Who I am
I’m Ameer Salameh, a clinical and educational psychologist and a graduate of the School of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. I work with children, adolescents and adults in therapy and assessment — in Hebrew and Arabic, at the clinic in Majd al-Krum or online.
A judgement-free space
You don’t have to arrive with everything in order here. It’s okay for things to be messy. All your feelings are legitimate — all of them. You can simply be who you are.
The therapeutic approach
Therapy combines different approaches and is tailored to you — there is no one-size-fits-all template here.

Change starts with one conversation. You don’t need to arrive with all the answers.
Book a session
An initial introductory call
We’ll talk about what brings you here and see together whether it’s a good fit. No commitment.
The first session
In the first session we’ll go deeper into your story. I’ll ask, I’ll listen, and together we’ll set a direction for our work.
Regular sessions
We’ll meet regularly — weekly or every two weeks. Each session is adapted to the stage you are at.
Real change
Over time you begin to notice a change in the way you think and feel. Progress isn’t always linear — but it is real.
Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions before starting therapy.
How will I know if therapy is right for me?
If you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or that something needs to change — but it isn’t clear how to move forward — that is exactly when therapy can help. You don’t have to be in crisis to reach out.
How long is a session?
Each session lasts about 50 minutes. We’ll decide on the frequency together — usually once a week or every two weeks, depending on your needs and the stage of therapy.
How much does it cost?
The session fee is given during the initial scheduling call, together with details about possible reimbursement through your health fund (kupat holim) or supplementary insurance, where relevant to your situation.
Are online sessions available?
Yes. Sessions can be held online on a secure platform. Many clients find online therapy just as effective — and much more convenient. Professional confidentiality is fully maintained, exactly as at the clinic.
What is the therapeutic approach?
The therapeutic approach is integrative and personally tailored, combining psychodynamic and psychoanalytic thinking with trauma- and regulation-focused tools, according to each client’s needs. The work draws, among other things, on training in EMDR, Somatic Experiencing (SE), DBT, Schema Therapy and other approaches; the choice of tools and way of intervening is guided by the difficulty, the stage of therapy and the person’s unique characteristics — not by a fixed therapeutic template.
