Frequently Asked Questions

The Clinic – Ameer Salameh

Answers to common questions before starting therapy — cost, confidentiality, length and process.

Therapy

About the therapeutic process and what it involves.

If you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or that something needs to change — but it isn’t clear how to move forward — that is exactly when therapy can help. You don’t have to be in crisis to reach out.

Each session lasts about 50 minutes. We’ll decide on the frequency together — usually once a week or every two weeks, as needed.

The session fee is given during the initial scheduling call, together with details about possible reimbursement from your health fund or supplementary insurance.

Yes. Online sessions take place on a secure platform. Many clients find online therapy just as effective — and much more convenient. Professional confidentiality is fully maintained.

My approach is integrative and personally tailored. Tools are chosen according to what suits you and the difficulty you come with, not according to a fixed template.

Health funds & insurance

Eligibility, reimbursement and dealing with health funds.

Reimbursement can be confusing. Every health fund and every policy is different — we’d be glad to help you check your eligibility.

When therapy is not covered by a health fund or supplementary insurance, payment is private and in full. The exact fee is given during the scheduling call, and we can also look together at a session frequency that works for you financially.

About me

About my training, approach and way of working.

All sessions are with Ameer Salameh, clinical and educational psychologist. This is a private, single-practitioner clinic — therapy is not handed over to other therapists, and the same person accompanies you throughout the process.

Sessions are held in Hebrew and Arabic.

Sessions & payment

Scheduling, session length, fees and cancellations.

The time set aside is reserved for you, so we ask that you give at least 48 hours’ notice of any cancellation.

You can pay by credit card or bank transfer.

At the end of an assessment you receive a summary report with findings and recommendations. A professional opinion for a committee, an educational setting or an official body is written as needed and arranged in advance.

Before the process begins you will receive clear information about the session fee and the expected number of sessions, so you can plan ahead.
